ONLINE PROCEDURE TO CREATE STUDENT DATA DISK

Most CAOS courses require opening existing data files to complete course homework assignments. In your student handbook, you are told to Create a Student Data Disk in the Getting Started page. Rather than coming into the CAOS lab to do this, this procedure will download a CAOS data disk folder to your computer. After downloading the CAOS data disk folder to your computer's hard drive, you will need to unzip the folder to access the data files. If you do not know how to unzip a folder, you will need to come to the CAOS lab (AT 203) and copy these files using the instructions found in your student handbook. Our friendly CAOS staff will be happy to help you complete these handbook instructions when you come into the CAOS lab.
